L'ancien international allemand Thomas Berthold se dit impressionné par les débuts du jeune attaquant Erling Haaland au Borussia Dortmund.
Thomas Berthold : « Ce jeune homme (Erling Haaland) s'est très rapidement adapté à son nouveau club (Borussia Dortmund) et au Championnat. Il fait de l'excellent travail. Il est grand, il n'est pas un joueur comme (Kingsley) Coman, qui est capable de courir pour vous échapper. (Erling) Haaland a la mentalité typique d'un attaquant, il a une certaine force et il a l'instinct du but. Il est bon pour marquer de la tête, et il a aussi un pied gauche très fort. Il faut être vraiment très prudent quand on joue face à lui. »
